NOTE!!
Students must join 1st and last 3 classes, which are in common part. Also, students must take 1 part from A to C and join all classes in the part. The course is divided into 4 parts, the common part and selected parts, and each part has 3 or 4 classes. Thus, students should join 7 or 8 classes.
You can take any classes for your capacity building.

EVALUATION
A presentation and assignments are evaluated for the grade. Subjects in each assignment will be informed in the class.



ASSIGNMENTS
Each part provides one assignment. You have to take 2 assignments to obtain this credit.
One assignment in the part of your participation should be written in detail within 10 pages. Too careful and understandable content is requested.
The other assignment in the part you did not join, should be written in 4 pages. Simple and condensed content is necessary.

You can submit it by E-mail.!! Your name with ID should be included in the report.

Part A:
Report each hydrological process amount in hydrological cycle in your country. Collect data from web site and others if available and estimate some fluxes and amounts if unavailable. Some equations and functions based on fundamental data can help the estimation. You do not take one information but discuss it from some sets of data. It is noted that uniform unit should be used. Submit this report by e-mail with title "Assignment for class (your name)" by 17th December.

Part B:
Report water environment prblems in your country and a series of the problem impact. Also report solution and adaptation to solve those problems. Please pay attention to not only techonlogical solution but software measures. More aspects are highly evaluated. Submit this report by e-mail with title "Assignment for class (your name)" by 9th January.

Part C:
Report the water conflict in a view of water resources. There are many kinds of water conflict. Tell your ideas how to solve those conflicts. Some examples and/or cases for this matter are acclaimed. (Deadline is 29 January)

PRESENTATION:
All students should have a presentation in only 5 minutes in English. Please show your research subject and one topic in your research related to this class or water. Students should prepare a power point file for the presentation.
